An introduction to family rights and responsibilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Massachusetts Special Education Law and No Child Left Behind (NCLB).  Everyone is welcome to attend for free.

  • Learn how to be effective partners with the school
  • Determine eligibility for special education
  • Plan, make decisions and monitor student progress in school
  • You may want to learn about your rights to ask for free testing if you are concerned with your child’s learning.
